The Human and K9 Ultimate Challenge 7.0 will be around 8kms long situated in the scenic mountains of Ras al Khaimah with natural obstacles around the Jebal Jais area.

All ages and fitness levels are welcome. The track will have 5 checkpoints where you and your K9 companion can turn around to basecamp at any of them depending on you and your K9’s fitness level.

The track will be marked with arrows to follow and each checkpoint will have a dedicated experienced marshal along with roaming marshals en-route if any of the challengers require assistance.

Checkpoint 3 will be the middle point of the challenge with a vet and an assistant to check your K9 if needed. Checkpoint 4 and 5 will be more demanding if you choose to proceed.

Each batch will have a different departure time and batch colour. Batches will leave between 8am-9am. We request all challengers to be at the basecamp 20 minutes prior to their batch departure times to register their team at the registration desk.

Non-dog owners are welcome to foster a dog for the day from various shelters, such as K9 Friends Dubai.

Please remember to bring enough water for you and your companion, hiking shoes (not Flip-Flops) a fixed dog lead or harness, a backpack with snacks and a camping chair for a well deserved rest after the hike.

After a challenging hike you will have a BBQ waiting for you at Basecamp.

Toilet facilities will be available on the basecamp on the day of the event.

We request all dogs to be kept on leads at all times for safety purposes.

Registration can be done online at www.hk9.ae or alternatively you can visit Tail-Waggin in Al Quoz to purchase your tickets.
